Gives the requirements for the construction, physical properties and performance of two classes of first aid reel hoses identified by their cover, and used for fire-fighting on fire-fighting vehicles and on hose reels for fixed installations. Further classified into two types according to their design working pressure. Includes marking details, bend and kink test methods, and method for determination of resistance to hot surfaces. Illustrates apparatus for determination of resistance to hot surfaces.
