Proposes a series of preferred dimensions for lighting poles which are designed to support luminaires and ancillary equipment for public lighting. Applies to a variety of pole types, including those of the "frangible' and "slip-base' design. Also proposes preferred dimensions for separate bracket arms of a type designed for mounting onto an electricity distribution pole, wall or other supporting surface. Previously issued for comment as DR 89170.
