This Supplement gives information on the physics relating to laser radiation dangers posed by laser products with finite accessible emission of laser radiation. It complements the information in AS/NZS 2211.1 by explaining the underlying principles. It does not replace AS/NZS 2211.1, and in case of conflict between the two Standards, the requirements of AS/NZS 2211.1 prevail.
