Lays down the requirements for two grades of two-part polysulphide-based sealant for use in building applications. Pouring grade sealants are for use in horizontal joints whilst gun grade sealants are for use in vertical and inclined joints. Both grades of sealant perform satisfactorily in the normal range of atmospheric temperature and humidity levels found in the UK and with the types of substrate represented by the test surfaces. Covers rheological properties, plastic deformation, adhesion and tensile modulus, application life, adhesion in peel and loss of mass after heat ageing.
