This part is the specification for the methods of test for requirements of EN 295-1. Coverage includes symbols, test for squareness of ends, straightness test, crushing strength test, bending tensile test, bending movement resistance test, bond strength of adhesive, test for fatigue strength, test for watertightness of pipes, chemical resistance test for pipes and fittings, determination of hydraulic roughness, abrasion resistance test, impermeability test for fittings, ozone resistance test, tests for polyurethane, tests for polypropylene sleeve couplings made by coupling manufacturers who hold a certification mark licence to EN 295, tests for polypropylene sleeve couplings purchased from an outside supplier, mechanical test methods for joint assemblies and invert conformity test.
