Not suitable for use with castor oil-based and ester-based fluids. Does not include requirements for end fittings. Limited to the performance of hoses and hose assemblies. Specifies 4-spiral light steel wire, medium steel wire, heavy steel wire and 6-spiral heavy steel wire reinforced rubber-covered hydraulic hoses. Includes pressure ratings, minimum bend radius and change in length at design working pressure, tolerance on length, impulse test requirements, cold flexibility requirements, ozone resistance, oil resistance and marking.
