Describes tests for natural convection and forced convection ovens. Where the manufacture claims an oven is suitable for reheating frozen food and cooking, provision is made for validating. Assumes gas supply pressure to appliance is within operating tolerance. Does not provide a complete specification for controls. See Health and Safety at Work in local authority regulations, Gas Safety Regulations, Building Regulations and Building Standards. Attention is drawn to the recommendations made in the booklet 'Health and Safety at Work, Evaporating and other ovens'.
