CONTAINED IN VOL. 04.01, 2005Deals with minimum requirements for installing interior non-structural steel framing and furring members to receive screw-attached gypsum panel products. Steel framing and furring members dealt with by this specification are restricted to those which comply with Specification C 645. Construction details for specific assembly to attain required fire resistance shall be obtained from reports of fire-resistance tests, listings, or engineering evaluations from recognized fire test laboratories.
