Defines a system of uniform marking of products fabricated from plastics materials. Intended to help identify plastics products for subsequent decisions concerning handling, waste recovery or disposal. Does not provide for the processes to be used for marking, nor does it replace, supplant or in any way interfere with requirements for labelling found in legislation.
