1.1 This standard deals with masonry work using either masonry units made of natural stone or bricks.1.2 This standard does not cover ashlar walling (cf. DIN18332) and cast stone work (cf. DIN18333).1.3 Clauses 1 to 5 of DIN18299 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
