This standard is included in DIN Handbook 1, 1 E,6-2 and 45. Applies to ISO metric screw threads having the basic profile specified in DIN ISO 68-1. It gives the nominal profiles for mating external and internal threads with or without clearance on the flank, on which tap dimensions are based.
