This standard outlines the characteristics, boundary dimensions, tolerances, internal clearances and permissible loads of metric series, single-row, self-aligning, spherical roller bearings of diameter series 3 & 4 according to ISO 15, for use in airframe applications. Covers bearings designed for an operational temperature range of -54 degrees to +150 degrees C. Designs are to withstand only slow rotations and oscillations under load and are meant for use between fixed and moving parts of aircraft structures and their control surfaces.
