Proposes the adoption as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard of a modified IEC 705:1988, IEC 705:1988 Amendment 1:1993 and IEC 705:1993 Amendment 2:1993, which specify the principal performance characteristics of microwave ovens and set out methods for testing same, including useable cavity volume and shelf area, microwave power output, and heating performance.
