Specifies the suitability of solderless crimped connections under specified mechanical, electrical and atmospheric conditions and describes a means of comparing test results with crimping tools of different designs or manufacture using stranded wires of 0,05 mm Square to 10 mm Square cross section or solid wires of 0,25 mm to 3,6 mm diameter and uninsulated or pre insulated crimp barrels. Gives information on materials and data from industrial experience the test procedures for electrically stable connections under prescribed environmental conditions.
