This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the body of turnbackle used for building made of carbon steel products, hot-dip zinc coated carbon steel products, and stainless steel products. For the body of turnbackle for building of carbon steel products, open frame type body (except M10) with material of SS400 of JIS G 3101 and pipe type turnbackle body (except M6 to M10) with material of STKM11A, 12A, 13A and 14A of JIS G 3445 are pecified in Annex (normative).
