SHOULD BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH BS 6068 SECTIONS 6.1, 6.2 AND 6.3 Gives advice on the sampling of sedimentary materials from: lakes and similar standing bodies; inland rivers and streams; estuarine and harbour areas. Specifically excludes open ocean sediments, palaeolimnology sampling, and industrial and sewage works sludges.
