Deals with ISO metric threads and associated taps and gauges. Makes provision for screw threads of the following nominal sizes: S-0.8 x 0.20; M1 x 0.25; M1.2 x 0.25; M1.4 x 0.30 and M1.6 x 0.35 (and for related taps and gauges). Appendix A gives recommendations for gauging practices. Also gives definitions and tolerances on lengths of screws.
