Defines requirements for rubber and plastics hoses to be used with compressed or liquefied gases to a maximum design pressure of 450 bar (450 MPa), within the ambient temperature range of -20 deg C to +60 deg C. Does not include rubber hoses for welding, cutting and allied processes intended to be used up to a maximum design pressure of 20 bar (12 MPa) or not more than 1,5 bar (0.15 MPa) for acetylene, which are described in EN 559.
