Defines the safety of electric blankets, pads and other flexible appliances that heat human body, bed, household and similar purposes, with voltage of no more than 250 V. Applicable to control units supplied with the appliance. Covers the common hazards of appliances encountered by all persons in and around the home. Not applicable of usage of appliances by young children or infirm persons without supervision.
