Allows the user to evaluate the moisture resistance of non-hermetic packaged solid state devices. Changes in this revision include location requirements of devices within the test chamber, allowance of distilled water, tightening of the temperature and pressure tolerances, addition of longer test periods, tight tolerance on the test period length, definition of test interval duration, comprehension of interim read points, maximum allowable time off test for interim read points, and contamination control during handling of the devices.
