May have self-healing properties dependent on conditions of use. Mainly intended for applications where the a.c. component is small respecting the rated voltage. Describes two performance grades of capacitors. Defines preferred ratings and characteristics, and chooses from EN 130000 the appropriate quality assessment methods, tests and measurement procedures, together with general performance requirements.
