Proposes test procedures and minimum performance criteria for evaluating roll-over protective structures (ROPS) intended for fitting to conventional tractors. Applies to driver-controlled tractors but not primarily to earth-moving machinery. Tests are described for both dynamic and static testing. It is proposed that a theoretical analysis of ROPS performance providing equivalent performance to dynamic or static testing be included.
