This Standard is included in DIN Handbook 11-2. Specifies requirements for NOT GO gauging members for GO and NOT GO plug gauges as specified in DIN 2245 Part 1 and for NOT GO plug gauges as specified in DIN 2247 Part 1. For gauging thin-walled, and hence easily distorted, components, for gauging short holes and for gauging internal screw threads, only plug gauges with Type Z gauging member are suitable.
