Written primarily for builders who, by following the figures in the handbook, can construct timber framed buildings which comply with the Standard. Also of use to territorial authority building officials, draughtspersons, designers and specifiers, as an aid to the detailing of timber framing. Brings together in one figure the specific criteria, often contained in a number of scattered locations in NZS 3604, for each element of framing such as member sizes, spans, fixings, and specific construction requirements.
