BS AMD 8081 RENUMBERS THIS STANDARD TO BS EN 26098Specifies functional and mechanical interchangeability requirements for self-loading cartridges, to be used with reels of 12,7 mm (0.5 in) wide magnetic tape specified in ISO 1864. Gives minimum functional and dimensional requirements; this ensures interchangeability of cartridges between tape drives meant for self-loading operation. Also gives some features and dimensions (other than those atrictly required for interchangeability) which must be considered as optional or recommended.
