Applies to plate, sheet, strip, wide flats, sections, bars, hand forgings and drop forgings made from alloy steels with low temperature toughness, as listed in Table 1, for low temperature applications. These products are predominantly used in the construction of chemical plant, vessels, pipework and for general mechanical engineering purposes.
