Covers rings for moving and stationary uses.Deals with about 200 sizes "O" seals with internal diameter from 0.070 to 15.475 inches,and cross section 0.070,0.103,0.139,0.210 and 0.275 inches.Covers recess measurements,tolerances for "diametral sealing" of reciprocating mechanisms,and "face sealing" for flange and chamfer type seatings in stationary uses;working pressures to 1500 lbf/sq.in.Sets out maximum roughness values for the surface of metal parts which touch the "O" seal,for stationary and moving parts.
