Explains the requirements for electromagnetic and capacitor voltage transformers for frequencies from 15 Hz to 100 Hz, and for use with electrical measuring instruments and electrical protective equipment such as are covered in general by electricity meters, direct acting electrical indicating instruments, direct acting electrical recording instruments, electrical protective relays and electrical protective systems for a.c. plant. Although the requirements relate basically to transformers with separate windings, they are applicable, where appropriate, to auto transformers. Specifies requirements for capacitor dividers of capacitor voltage transformers. Also gives detailed definitions.
