Defines a procedure to determine pressure loss and fluid flow rate through valves in piping systems employing water as a test fluid. The procedure is appropriate for valves with low coefficient values, but above 0,1 by determining pressure loss, with respect to fluid flow rate and density, and valves with equal inlet and outlet nominal sizes. Industrial-process control valves are not covered.
