Applies to miniature bayonet coupled coaxial connectors, Series BNC. Inner diameter of the outer conductor is 6,5 mm (0,26 in) at the mating face of connectors, and characteristic impedance is 50 omega. States mating face dimensions and gauging information for General purpose Connectors, dimensional details for Standard Test Connectors, Grade O, and selects mandatory tests from CECC 22000, applicable to all detail specifications relating to Series BNC connectors. Also gives test schedules to be used when writing a detail specification, and covers Assessment Level H (intended for arduous professional use), and Assessment Level U (lowest assessment level permitted).
