Covers the pressure testing of pressure pipelines for the conveyance of drinking water, water for industrial use or sewage. DIN 1988 "Drinking water pipe installations on premises; technical specification for installation and operation" applies to the pressure testing of pressure pipelines in water-consuming plants. DIN 1986 Part 1 "Site surface water drainage installations; technical regulations for construction" should be observed for site surface water drainage installations. Connecting lines are subject to local regulations.
