CONTAINED IN VOL. 04.04, 2005Covers asphalt roofing in sheet form, in widths agreed upon between the purchaser and theproducer/supplier, composed of asphalt-saturatedorganic felt coated on both sides with asphalt.M and WS class rolls are surfaced on the (exposed) weather side with mineral granules, except for anyselvage. Rolls of class S are surfaced with powderedtalc, mica, or other fine mineral matter to preventsticking.
