Specifies, with reference to ISO 230-1, both machining and geometric tests on vertical spindle, single column type coordinate boring and drilling machines. Also specifies the applicable tolerances which correspond to the above-mentioned tests. Besides boring and drilling operations, it may be possible to carry out light milling operations with these machines. Does not deal with jig boring machines or machining centres.
