Gives recommendations for selection, planning and installation of closed television systems including camera(s) with monitor(s) and/or video recorder(s), switching, control and ancillary equipment to be used in security applications. It provides a framework for assistance of customers, installers and users in establishing requirements, assists specifiers and users in determining correct equipment for a given application and gives means of evaluating objectively the performance of an installed system.
