Proposes the adoption of IEC 61000-4-1:1992, which considers immunity tests for electric and/or electronic equipment (apparatus and systems) in its electromagnetic environment. Both conducted and radiated phenomena are considered, including immunity tests for equipment connected to power, control and communication networks. The complete text can be viewed at the Sydney and Melbourne Information Centres of Standards Australia or at Standards New Zealand. Arrangements can be made to view copies at other Standards Australia branches if required. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
