Concerned with the manufacturing of radiographic and mammographic cassettes for use with radiographic screens in medical practice. Not applicable to special cassettes, ie with built-in anti-scatter grids or simultaneous tomography. Ensures that x-ray equipment can be used with radiographic cassettes from different manufacturers.
