This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the dial gauges of 0.01 mm, 0.002 mm and 0.001 mm in scale interval and 100 times, 500 times and 700 times or more in magnification. This applies to the dial gauges of 60 mm or under in outer frame and 10 mm or under in measuring range in the case of 0.01 mm and 0.002 mm in scale interval and 5 mm or under in measuring range in the case of 0.001 mm in scale internal.
