Means of carrying ITU-R System B Teletext (World System Teletext [WST] - should satisfy the following requirements - Support transcoding of Teletext data into the Vertical Blanking interval of analogue video, compatible with existing TV receivers with Teletext decoders: Maximum data rate for each teletext service is equal to 16 lines per field : Transmission mechanism capable of transmitting subtitles with accurate timing regarding the video (within or near frame accuracy).
