This standard is included in DIN DVS Handbook 8 and 191. Specifies requirements for classification of wire electrodes and weld deposits in the as-welded condition for gas shielded metal arc welding of non alloy and fine grain steels. Coverage includes: symbol for the product/process, symbol for shielding gas, preheating and interpass temperatures, and symbol for impact properties of all-weld metal.
