CONTAINED IN VOL. 15.03, 2005Describes method to obtain quantitative measurements of the damage resistance of continuous-fiber-reinforced composite material to a concentrated indentation force which is applied to the specimen by slowly pressing a hemispherical indenter in the surface. The specified procedures determine the damage resistance for a simply supported test specimen and for a rigidly backed test specimen.
