Define methods and requirements for air and bone conduction threshold audiometry. For screening purposes describes only air conduction pure tone audiometric test procedures. May not be suitable for special populations, such as young children. Does not define speech audiometry, electrophysiological audiometry and where loudspeakers are the sound source.
