Covers an aluminium alloy in the form of sheet. Mainly for parts needing moderate forming and where good welding characteristics and good resistance to exfoliation-corrosion are important. Prolonged heating or excessive cold work in the temperature range 150 -300 Dge F (65 - 150 Deg C) may cause susceptibility to stress-corrosion.
