Applicable to the permanent magnet materials listed in DIN 17410. Apart from the properties of the magnet material, the dimensions of the magnet and of the air gap and also the properties of the ferromagnetic flux-conducting components (pole shoes, keepers, armatures and the like) determine the behaviour of a magnetic system.
