Applies to rolled plates (and to circular blanks manufactured therefrom) with thicknesses from 15 to120 mm; widths (and diameters) up to 3000 mm and lengths up to 3000 mm made from the materials specified in DIN 17675 Part 1, and mainly used for surface condensers, heat exchangers and for the manufacture of general apparatus. Does not apply to forged plates, which are usually rough machined and which are supplied with machining allowances and with general tolerances in accordance with DIN 7168 - medium.
