CONTAINED IN VOL. 05.01, 2005Describes the evaluation of the resistance of a lubricatinggrease to washout by water from a bearing, when testedat 38 and 79 degree C (100 and 175 degree F) under theprescribed laboratory conditions. It is not to be consideredthe equivalent of service evaluation tests. This testmethod may not be suitable for some greases containinghighly volatile components.
