This standard is included in DIN VDE Handbook 503. States requirements intended to reduce risks of fire, electric shock or injury for the OPERATOR and layman who may come into contact with the equipment and, where specifically stated, for a SERVICE PERSON.
Supersedes DIN EN 60950, DIN IEC 74-501-CD, DIN VDE 0805 DRAFT AMD 16 issue 10-1999 and DRAFT AMD 17 issue 12-1999.
