Machines not intended for normal household use, but which nevertheless may be a source of danger to the public, are within the scope of this standard. Excludes kitchen machines incorporating heating elements, food processors, sliding machines provided with a circular knife, kitchen machines designed exclusively for industrial or commercial purposes, and kitchen machines intended to be used in locations where special conditions prevail and ice-cream machines provided with refrigerating facilities.
