Lays down requirements for floodlights for use with tungsten filament, tubular fluorescent and other discharge lamps on supply voltages not exceeding 1000 V. Covers definitions, classification of luminaires, marking, construction, creepage distances and clearances, provision for earthing, terminals, external wiring, protection against electric shock, endurance tests and thermal tests, resistance to dust and moisture, insulation resistance and electric strength and resistance to heat, fire and tracking.
