Provides a guide to the safe use of lasers and laser systems in diagnostic and therapeutic medical and dental procedures. It is intended for application in hospital operating rooms, clinics and private medical and dental practices. Guidelines are given for administrative and engineering controls of potential hazards and for the appropriate training of relevant staff.
