Describes the general requirements and tests for the conventional type of griller and toaster. Those which have food under the heating element are known as Type A and those which have food placed between the heating elements are known as Type B. Applies to equipment designed for operation on either single phase or polyphase supplies where the voltage to earth does not exceed 250 volts a.c. or d.c. It establishes a satisfactory standard of safety and performance when the equipment is used under normal conditions.
